Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

The Upper East Side: An upscale neighborhood with affluent roots. Some of America’s most famous families have made their homes on the Upper East Side: the Roosevelts, Kennedys, Rockefellers, and Carnegies were all real-estate pioneers in the early 1900s and developed the neighborhood into a beautiful and posh place to live. The Upper East Side moves at a slower, more relaxed paced than other neighborhoods in Manhattan. The wealth of playgrounds, community centers, and schools make it feel like a suburb within the city. The lifestyle: Playtime in Central Park, constant culture at your fingertips, and a fun and accessible nightlife. Central Park becomes your playground when you live on the Upper East Side. Over on East End, you’ll find the lesser-known but equally beautiful Carl Schurz Park, an intimate space with dog runs and great views of the river. Museum Mile is home to a row of some of the finest museums in the country, including the Guggenheim, the Jewish Museum and the Met. After dark, nightlife is vibrant on Second Avenue. There are no clubs and no guest lists - karaoke lounges and Irish pubs welcome in anyone and everyone.

I rented this place for my grandson, a recent college grad who had an internship in NYC for the summer. I flew to NYC with him to set the place up and could not have been more pleased with the property or its location. Having heard of how cramped apartments in NYC tend to be, I was worried about closet space, but there were attractive clothing racks to hold all his clothes and ample closet space to store all the luggage he had to bring out of sight. The place was easy to find and check in was simple. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The location of this place could not be better. The subway is two blocks away and the neighborhood feels safe. I felt comfortable leaving my grandson there for two months and he absolutely loved it. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and my grandson was able to walk for everyday groceries and supplies or take a quick train ride a little further to a bigger chain grocery store. He had an amazing experience there!

This was a great place to stay in the city. Very close to the subway and close to work where I needed to be. Easy to communicate with the host about anything.

El departamento es muy confortable, está bien equipado y su ubicación es muy buena. A sólo 100 metros hay una línea de subte. Y está a 600 metros de Central Park. Lo recomiendo ampliamente!

This home was in a good neighborhood and walkable to close by restaurants and grocery stores. The host provided multiple heaters in every room of the apartment. The host also offered a laundry card for use with money available if needed all-ready on the card. The entrance was well secured and provided excellent privacy and safety. Very much would I recommend this stay to anyone with taste and comfort requirements. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Very nice apartment, quick and easy check in process. Street parking but did not have a problem finding a spot right outside of the building. Lots of restaurants and cafés just a few blocks away.
